New Albums of Young Architects and Landscape Architects
|
On 20 March 2008, Christine Albanel, Minister of Culture and Communication, announced the winners of the 4th New Albums of Young Architects (NAJA) competition and the 2nd New Albums of Landscape Architects (NAP) competition.
The New Albums of Young Architects and Landscape Architects awards are one of the ways in which the Ministry of Culture and Communication supports and promotes professionals working to improve our living environment. Organised by the Direction de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine (architecture and national heritage authority), with the support of the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine, these awards are open to European architects and landscape architects under 35 who have already entered a competition or completed a project in France.
The 20 winning teams from the 2007-2008 event are benefiting from an exposure drive aimed at increasing their profiles both in France and internationally. Their projects and works also form the focus of an exhibition produced by the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine. The exhibition will begin at the Palais de Chaillot with scenography designed by the Projectiles agency (winner of the 2006-2007 NAJA) before embarking on a tour of France.
Exhibition presented by the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine / Institut Français d’Architecture, with the support of Foncière des Régions.
